Description
Pennsylvania Bluestone Slabs are large sheets of cut bluestone perfect for hearths, mantles and other custom stonework. The top and one long edge is thermalled to give them a smooth, even texture and disguise cut marks (see pictures in the above gallery).
Bluestone is a sandstone which makes it one of the easiest stones to work with. These slabs are commonly cut to custom fit applications and the edges are thermalled when they will be exposed.
Bluestone Slabs are available in two colors: True Blue which is is a blue-grey in color, and Full Color which is typically blue-grey in color with brown or rusty toned stripes or ends.
