One Yard Covers:

Use the coverage chart below as a handy reference tool for figuring cubic yards

Simply take your square footage and divide by the coverage for your desired depth.


Example:

  1. I have 300 square feet and I want to put bark in 2" deep.
  2. At 2" deep, one yard covers 162 sq ft (per chart below)
  3. So 300 divided by 162 = 1.85 yards
