Fish Compost is created by composting brush and yard debris, natural native hardwoods, and Washington native fish. It is registered with the Department of Agriculture as Certified Organic and is very high in nitrogen. Great soil amendment for vegetable gardens. It is made in Mason County.
Due to the nature of the composting process it is not uncommon to find bits of paper or plastic in composts. This is due to contaminated materials being turned in for recycling. All efforts are made to keep the material as clean as possible and the materials are regularly tested to make sure they meet state organic compost regulations.
