1 1/4" Minus Crushed Aggregate is commonly used on driveways and parking areas. It has the fines for compaction so it will pack down and stay in place. Aggregate rock drains better than basalt and is more durable, but won't pack down as tight as the basalts will.
Commonly used in parking areas for RVs or trailers because it holds up to the heavy vehicle weight better.
