Description

1 1/4" Minus Crushed Basalt is crushed from 1 1/4" to 0". It has the fines for compaction which means it will pack in, though not as tight as the 3/4" Minus since it is larger. The 1 1/4" Minus Crushed Basalt is good in softer areas where smaller material may disappear into the muck, or for parking areas for large vehicles, like RVs and dump trucks, which tend to push and break down smaller material.

During the wet season this product does absorb and hold quite a bit of moisture, making it more difficult to spread and compact while wet. 1 1/4" Minus Aggregate drains better and is more durable particularly during the wet season.
