Pennsylvania Bluestone is a unique product found only in a small area of Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is a strong, stable sandstone that resists cracking and discoloring. It actually comes in three colors in Pennsylvania: Full Color, True Blue and Lilac. While the lilac is not available here, the more consistent and more popular Full Color and True Blue are available.
The True Blue has a uniform grey-blue hue without much variation in color and is only available in cut pavers and hearths.
The Full Color is the most common color and is a subtle combination of the Lilac and True Blue, with an emphasis of soft grey and tan hues, sometimes containing greens. The Full Color Standup is one of our most popular stones for patios and walkways because of it's cost effectiveness and ease of installation.
Pennsylvania Bluestone is also available in treads and hearths. These tend to lean more towards the True Blue in color but will sometimes contain some full color tones as well.
This stone has a large variation in color and thickness so is something you will definitely want to select in person.
